Five things to do with kids in London

London is an exciting city to explore with your kids and there are so many things to see and do. Here are five excellent attractions that you can enjoy in London with your kids.

1. Loo Tours

What is it?
This quirky tour is the only walking tour that will take you around the public lavatories of London and give you some insight into the history of public toilets in Britain. It is quite informative and the funny toilet stories will get a giggle out of your little ones. The tour lasts for around 1.5 hours.

2. The Fan Museum

What is it?
This is the first museum in the world dedicated to the fan and it is located within two beautiful grade II listed houses built in 1721. As well as checking out the stunning collection of over 4,000 fans, you can also admire the pond, stream, murals and Japanese style garden. Children under 7 can enter for free. Take your young ones for an afternoon tea at the museum with scones, cream, jam and freshly baked cakes and they will feel like royalty.

3. The Clink Prison

What is it?
Dating back to 1144, The Clink is one of the oldest and most notorious prisons in England. On this tour you will get a glimpse into the scandalous past of this prison and have the opportunity to view archaeological artefacts and even handle real torture devices. It might be a little scary for young children, but older kids and teenagers get a macabre thrill out of this creepy attraction.

4. Battersea Park Children’s Zoo

The much loved Battersea Park Children’s Zoo has been a popular family attraction for many years since it was developed by the Heap Family in 2003.
